This was a collaborative project I worked on with Garrett Faulkner in our DAI 460 (Rapid Prototyping) class at San Francisco State University. Garrett did a lot of the aesthetic design work and photography while I engineered the hinge mechanisms and final folding table design. We used SolidWorks, PartWorks, and a ShopBot CNC machine to get all of the parts cut to our specifications. We both spent plenty of time assembling and finishing the parts as a team.
